What do we believe?

At Blue Provident we believe it should be simple for organisations to ask employees their point of view and then act constructively on the results. So we’ve developed a series of tools for capturing the insights from employees to empower organisations to improve the workplace and achieve better results through their people. Our products and services are based around proven and practical survey-based feedback methods.

Past

Our initial desire was to create a survey business focused on measuring what matters in a simple way. Through these measurement techniques we hoped to empower organisations to make informed decisions and achieve a best-of-class approach to understanding safety culture.

We founded Blue Provident because we shared an idealistic passion to apply principles of organisational psychology to make workplaces safer and more effective for employees. This led us to develop and implement a broad combination of focused and user friendly measurement and diagnostic tools that could help managers focus on the key factors impacting their people. Our desire was to enable companies to achieve results through survey-based feedback avenues. As a company, we believe in creating dialogue and as people, we believe in creating sustainable relationships.

Present

Since company inception in January 2006 we have learned a great deal. We understand a wealth of information rests within workforce of every organisation. Organisations often respond to ‘noise’, the squeaky wheel or the issue most often raised, which leads to reactive decisions and undermines confident decision making. Our survey methods provide an opportunity to gain a full view of what is experienced and observed by employees in a work group, department or across an entire organisation.

Currently Blue Provident is focused on expanding our reach across geographical boundaries, proving to organisations of all sizes that it’s easy to prosper from the wisdom of their people. We hope to share our expertise more widely while learning from our varied client base.

We believe in Blue Provident because we consistently see improvements made through the use of our products and services. Our approaches provide a cost effective means of understanding what is occurring within an organisation in order to enable leaders to take positive action.

We are also excited to see a shift in the way organisations interact with their workforce using employee survey methods, where employee opinions are sourced regularly to guide action that is both appropriate and relevant. Simple and targeted employee surveys enable organisations to act appropriately, as and when required, rather than rolling out a series of ‘one size fits all’ interventions after a one off annual survey.

Future

Our vision for the future is to create a community of businesses that really listen to their people. We are intent on leading a revolution of positive social exchange between organisations and their employees. Blue Provident’s ultimate objective is to enable organisations to achieve better outcomes and share practical insight from relevant research and applicable experience.
